DRIFFIELD EI  0   KINGBURN ATHLETIC   3

Driffield EI took on second in the table Kingburn Athletic at Hutton Cranswick looking to build on their draw at Blackburn Leisure A last Sunday but it was the visitors who returned home with the points. Kingburn took the lead after only couple of minutes when Rich Wood kept his recent scoring form going and not long after they were 2-0 up when Rich Nicholson headed home from close range.  it was pretty much game over on the half hour when Josh Thompson made it three when the Driffield defence failed to clear their lines. The second half was a closer affair as there were no further goals but Kingburn saw the game out comfortably and they ended the day just a point behind leaders AFC Willerby A although they have played two games more.
