Recap

SPRINGHEAD HIGHWAY A  0   KINGBURN ATHLETIC  1

In a re-arranged game Springhead Highway A entertained Kingburn Athletic at Springhead Avenue in a game which saw just the one goal scored. Springhead missed several good chances in the first half with some poor finishing and it was goal less at half time. With the conditions worsening in the second half it became a battle of attrition on a boggy pitch, the only goal of the game came fifteen minutes from time when Josh Thompson broke free and finished well to put Kingburn ahead. The home side piled on the pressure in an attempt to get an equaliser and although they hit the post late on the visitors held on for a second successive 1-0 win which sees them end the day joint top with Blackburn Leisure A.
