MALET  3  SOUTH CAVE 2

There was another six pointer at Malet Lambert as third placed South Cave took on Malet in fourth place. A tight game was anticipated and that is how it turned out. The visitors opened the scoring through Pete Fewings  and led by this goal at half time. t Malet made some positional changes and substitutions and those alterations produced three goals from Paul Burton 2 and Lee Macklin before Kirk Scargill made it 3-2 with a couple of minutes to go but they were unable to grab an equaliser. The win sees Malet move into second place in the table four points behind leaders Lord Nelson.
