MALET VIKINGS 1 BLACKBURN LEISURE A 2
Malet Vikings and Blackburn Leisure A met at Malet Lambert School and they produced an even first half but no goals to show for their efforts. The home side went in front early in the second half but Blackies were level ten minutes later after a good team move Marshall scored and ten minutes later he put them in front from the penalty spot after Danny Lilley had been fouled. Malet responded well and only a series of great saves from Blackies keeper Rob Davis prevented them from getting some reward from the game as the visitors held on for the points.
MALET VIKINGS 3 ST PETERS 4
There were plenty of goals and late drama at Malet Lambert School as Malet Vikings entertained St Peters and it was the visitors who went away with the three points after an odd goal in seven win. Malet started the better of the two sides as the visitors struggled to get their game together but against the run of play they went ahead when James Layton arrowed a shot into the bottom corner. St Peters had to rely on a great double save by Dave Robson to prevent Malet getting level. It became 2-0 when Shaun Brennan lobbed the Malet keeper from 30 yards. Ten minutes from half time Malet halved the deficit for 1-2 at the break. The second half was a scrappy affair but the visitors restored their two goal lead when Steve Collins netted a cross. Ten minutes later it was back to a single goal lead as Malet scored for 2-3. The visitors keeper was back in action as he prevented Malet equalising but eventually they did so with just a couple of minutes to go and seemingly rescuing a point. However in stoppage time came the late twist when Malet failed to deal with a cross and Bobby Layton dropped a shoulder beating a defender and slotting the ball home for a dramatic winner for St Peters who celebrated with their supporters in fine style.

Willerby did fight back in the second half with a penalty from Nathan Nuttall and a Rob Edwards effort to make it 4-3 but they were unable to force an equaliser and Malet held on for their first win of the season.
DIVISION THREE CUP SEMI FINALS
MALET 3 SOUTH CAVE 3 SOUTH CAVE WIN ON PENALTIES
In an end to end game at Malet Lambert School Malet and South Cave played out a 3-3 draw followed by a penalty shoot out. Tom Brennan put Cave 1-0 up and they led by this goal at the break but two quick fire goals inside the first ten minutes of the second half saw the hosts lead 2-1 and when they added a third soon after it looked like game over as Malet took control. However Cave pulled a goal back straight from the kick off when Rob Mackenzie saw the Malet keeper off his line and from his own half he scored for 3-2 and it stayed that way until the last couple of minutes when Pete Fewings made it 3-3 to take it to penalties. Cave won the resulting shoot out to reach the final where they will face Springhead Highway B on 19th May.

MALET 4 NEWLAND 1
Malet entertained Newland at James Reckitt Avenue and it was the visitors who started well and they went in front on twenty minutes through Matthew Howard. Stung by this set back Malet responded well with an equaliser a couple of minutes later from Rich Moore and by half time they had built up a 3-1 lead after goals from a Paul Burton penalty and a Chris Hudson strike. In the second half Newland kept battling and they only conceded one further goal when Moore got his second of the game as it finished 4-1, despite another defeat Newland will take heart from their improved performance. For Malet the win keeps them in second place behind leaders Lord Nelson.
