MALET 4   NORTH FERRIBY SPORTING  1

Malet hosted North Ferriby Sporting at Malet Lambert School in their first game of 2024 and they started it in the same way as they ended 2023 with a 4-1 win. Malet took the lead in the first half through Phil Heys but North Ferriby were on level terms at half times courtesy of penalty put away by Gareth Welburn. However in the second half the visitors who only had a bare eleven ran out steam and Malet scored three times via Steve Harrod, Liam Power and Paul Burton to take the points to leave them one of three teams four points behind leaders Lord Nelson.
