Recap

In a game switched to the East Riding Leisure Centre, Beverley to ensure it went ahead Molescroft Rangers B entertained Preston United. The hosts might regret their offer to host the game as they were beaten 2-1. Preston opened the scoring in the first half through Mike Wardell and they led 1-0 at half time. When Wardell got his second early in the second half it looked all over at 2-0 but Molescroft pulled a goal back on seventy minutes through Matty Edeson and then put the Preston defence under pressure for the rest of the game but they were unable to get an equaliser as the visitors held out for the three points.
