Recap

It was second versus third at Beverley Leisure Centre as Molescroft Rangers B entertained Preston United and it was the visitors who claimed all three points. Molescroft went in front after Paul Beaulah scored but Preston responded really well and led 4-1 at half time . Any thoughts of a home win soon disappeared in the second half as Preston added a fifth early in the second half before Matty Eveson and Neil Lee pulled a couple of goals back before the visitors scored four more to leave the final score 3-9 and in doing so saw Preston end the afternoon joint top of the table behind Easington United on goal difference. Mike Wardell who plays in midfield had a field day for Preston as he helped himself to seven goals, with Dave McKay and Mike Robinson getting the others.
