Recap

On a very wet and soft Tommy More both Drum and Springhead Highway B defied the poor conditions to produce an eight goal thriller which ended all square. The home side started the better of the two sides and were soon two goals up with Darren McGrath and Andy Taylor the scorers. Undeterred Springhead fought back to level things up at 2-2 after goals from Tom Dawes and Nathan Nuttall,  but they were behind again when Andy England put the home side in front only for the visitors to equalise via Rich Bootyman-Yates just before half time leave the scores at 3-3. Springhead went ahead for the first time in the game on the hour with Bootyman-Yates second of the game. and that goal looked as though it would be good enough to seal the points for the visitors but Taylor saved a point for Drum with a late leveller. In the end a draw was probably a fair result in what were very difficult conditions.
