Recap

Another game with plenty of goals saw Hornsea Town bounce back from the disappointment of losing their division two status with a fine win at Lord Nelson. Hornsea got off to a great start when they went ahead after just 4 minutes when Dave Larvin scored but that was the only goal of a relatively even first half. The goal glut came in the second half after Nelson levelled only for Hornsea to add three unanswered goals to lead 4-1 these goals coming from Lee Carter a second from Larvin and Rick Davis. Two goals in quick time from Nelson made it a nervy 4-3 to the visitors. Carter settled those nerves with his second to make it  5-3 but Nelson wouldn`t go away and soon reduced the arrears again with their fourth of the afternoon but Hornsea had the last word when Larvin completed his hat trick to leave the final score 4-6. Nelson`s marksmen were Dave Hand, Craig Jones, Rich Fisher and Darren Newton.
