Recap

Springhead Highway playing their third game in successive weeks travelled out to Gilberdyke looking to maintain second place in the table. In a game of few chances in difficult conditions the only goal of the game came on the half hour when Springhead were awarded a penalty which Paul Duffield converted. Whilst Springhead had the vast majority of the possession they were unable to to add to their tally as a committed Gilberdyke outfit kept them out. This was Springhead`s second successive 1-0 win and their third single goal win in the last three weeks. They remain second three points behind Brigg Town but with two games in hand on them and the sides have still play each other twice this season.
