Recap

Kingburn Athletic hosted old rivals Hedon Rangers A at South Hunsley and they returned to winning ways after a controlled performance. Hedon were unable to put any pressure on the home defence and did not look like scoring whilst Kingburn probably should have won more comfortably than the final 2-0 scoreline. Leigh Page combined with fellow wide man Adam Rhodes to give Kingburn a 1-0 half time lead. Rhodes himself made it 2-0 when he took advantage of a defensive mix up in the Hedon defence.  The three points sees Kingburn move up to joint third place in the table.
