Recap

Champions Blackburn Leisure A started the defence of the title they won last season with a hammering of newly created Malet Vikings. The visitors who have been struggling for players could only muster a bare eleven and were soon under pressure from a confident Blackies side.  The home side hit twelve without reply but the visitors to their credit kept going to the end of the game. Scorers for the home side were Craig Cockin with 3, Marshall 2, Abbott 2, Matty Sutton 2, Jacklin, Lazenby and Foot.
