EASINGTON UNITED  3  SPARTANS  2

Easington United welcomed third placed Spartans to Low Farm and then proceeded to avenge a 3-2 defeat at Hull University by winning the return fixture by the same score. Paul Bolton put Spartans ahead with a header but their lead didn`t last for long as Easington were soon level. They then went in front for the first time and this time it was Spartans who equalised when Karoly Szilagyi scored and it was 2-2 at half time. The second half was a tense affair but it was the home side who grabbed what turned out to be the winner.  Their marksmen were Stu Campbell, Dave Chapman and James Martin.
