BRANDESBURTON  0  GILBERDYKE PHOENIX 3

Brandesburton moved their home game against title chasing Gilberdyke Phoenix to Hornsea as their home ground was unavailable. Gilberdyke knew a win would ensure they would win the league and after an even open twenty minutes they went ahead when Dave McMahon headed home and they and led 1-0 at the break. In the second half the visitors started to gain control but they found the Brandesburton keeper in fine form. However when McMahon got his second of the game it was within their grasp and it was confirmed when Matthew Gill made it 3-0 with a goal on his debut. Congratulations to Mark Stanley and his team mates.
