NORTH FERRIBY SPORTING  3  NEWLAND 1

Old rivals North Ferriby Sporting and Newland met at South Hunsley School with just pride to play for. The home side opened strongly and were soon 2-0 ahead after goals from Andy Bradley and Mike Tarbotton. Newland halved the deficit before half time and they started the better of the two sides in the second half and hit the post before Gareth Welburn restored the home sides two goal lead before the heat saw the game peter out.
