GOOLE UNITED   3  BLACKBURN LEISURE A  3

A thrilling encounter at Goole Cricket Club, which is their new home ground, saw Goole United and Blackburn Leisure A share the spoils after a 3-3 draw. The game was originally scheduled for last Sunday but it was worth waiting for. Goole opened the scoring through Jake Stannard late in the first half and they led 1-0 at half time. What they were not expecting was a three goals in a seven minute spell from Blackies early in the second half to see them 3-1 ahead. The home side responded soon after though with a goal from Will da Costa to make it 3-2 and it looked like that would be the final score but with just a couple of minutes to go they were awarded a penalty which was converted by Rob Constable to rescue a point which sees them go back to the top of the table.
