Recap

Blackburn Leisure A remain top of Division One after a narrow 2-1 win over Goole United at Brough. The first half was goal less but Blackies hit the woodwork three times and Goole once and the deadlock wasn`t broken until ten minutes into the second half when Blackies went ahead with Chris Marshall hitting home a free kick and it remained 1-0 until five minutes from the end of the game when the hosts doubled their lead again from a free kick which Craig Cockin took and a brilliant header from captain Chris Lazenby. Goole who had fought valiantly throughout pulled a goal back just before full time through Neil Harrison a reward for their efforts and it will give them hope for the rest of the season.
