AFC WILLERBY B  6  ST PETERS  3

In a match switched to Sirius West because their home ground was unavailable AFC Willerby B took on St Peters and a game of two halves was produced. The first twenty five minutes saw both sides play some good football but the there was no end product to show for it. Then two goals for St Peters in quick succession from a close range header by Steve Collins and then Shaun Brennan beat the keeper to a through ball to make it 2-0. They then missed a glorious chance to make it 3-0 and they paid the price as Willerby halved the deficit just before half time through Nathan Nuttall. The second half was barely a minute old when confusion in the visitors defence saw them conced an own goal and suddenly it was 2-2. Five minutes later Willerby went ahead when Nuttall took advantage of more defensive errors and soon after they went two goals up when Craig Haywood produced a good finish. On the hour they increased their lead when Rob Kennington produced a good finish for 5-2. It got even worse for St Peters as they fell further behind to the goal of the game a 30 yard volley from Glen Leach but they did have the last word when Collins got his second of the game for a final score of 6-3.
