SPRINGHEAD HIGHWAY A  3   ST PETERS  1

In a game switched from Springhead Avenue to Sirius Academy to ensure it went ahead Springhead Highway A took on local rivals St Peters.  Rob Edwards put Springhead ahead after eight minutes and Glen Leach added a second ten minutes later and it looked bleak for their bottom of the table visitors but too their credit they didn`t let their heads go down as they went into half time 2-0 down. They pulled a goal back on the hour but an Andy Hunter effort late on secured the points and left St Peters still looking for that elusive first win of the campaign.
