RECKITTS   2  KINGBURN ATHLETIC  1

Reclitts welcomed Kingburn Athletic to Hull University and a tight game ensued with the home side edging it by the odd goal in three. Reckitts opened the scoring when Mike Winfield finished off a short corner routine and they led by this goal at half time. They doubled their advantage on the hour mark when Shaun Blagdon hit one home from twenty five yards. This setback seemed to wake up the visitors and they pulled a goal back with a superb over head kick from Danny Wilkin but despite late pressure they were unable to find an equaliser.
