SPRINGHEAD HIGHWAY B  1  AAK S+S A  7

Old rivals Springhead Highway B and AAK S+S A met at Springhead Avenue and usually games between the two sides are close encounters but that wasn`t the case today as the visitors ran out comfortable winners. By half time the visitors had a 4-0 lead and it was game over. Springhead did pull a goal back early in the second half through leading scorer Nath Nuttall but any slim hopes of a comeback were soon extinguished as AAK added three more to give a final score of 7-1 in their favour. Scorers for the visitors were Rich Clubley 2, Dan Flowers 2, Mark Carson, Paul Carson and Gareth Edeson.
