GILBERDYKE PHOENIX  3  MOLESCROFT RANGERS B  3

Gilberdyke Phoenix gave up home advantage to ensure their game against Molescroft Rangers went ahead at Beverley Leisure Centre. Lacking a few regulars who decided a trip to Wembley was more important than a visit to Beverley, Gilberdyke soon found themselves a goal down when Bobby Burnett scored for the home side. By half time it was 2-2 after Phil Escorcio scored a quick double after Adam Leach got Molescroft`s second. In the second half Molescroft regained the lead when Burnett got his second of the game, Gilberdyke are a much more resolute side than earlier in the season and they grabbed a last gasp equaliser through debutant Matthew Smith to earn them a deserved point.
