MOLESCROFT RANGERS B  7  GILBERDYKE PHOENIX  4

There were plenty goals too at Beverley Leisure Centre but they were much more evenly shared as Molescroft Rangers B took on Gilberdyke Phoenix. The visitors who have had a torrid start to the season losing all four of their games so far went in front after fifteen minutes through Filipe Escorcio but ten minutes later Molescroft were on level terms through Neil Lee. Five minutes later Phoenix were back in front when Steve Smith converted an Andy Whitaker cross but on the stroke of half time Jamie Foster got a second equaliser and it was 2-2 at the break. The home side started the better of the two sides in the second half and went 4-2 up after Steven Stubbs and a second for Lee. Gilberdyke responded well and soon made it 4-3 via Craig Hodgson but Lee completed a fine hat trick for 5-3 and it soon became 6-3 when Stubbs got his second of the game. Once more Gilberdyke pulled a goal back with Hodgson`s second of the game before Foster made the points safe with his second for a final score of 7-4.
