BRANDESBURTON  6   OAK ROAD RANGERS  3

Top of the table Brandesburton took on unbeaten Oak Road Rangers at Catwick Road in a highly anticipated game. What neither side had expected was that Brandesburton would be three goals up inside the first ten minutes after goals from Simon Jones, Mark Stathers and Scott Hosey. A second from Hosey before the break made it 4-0 at half time and effectively game over. Hosey completed his hat trick before the visitors pulled a couple of goals back for 5-2 and a glimmer of hope but a second for Jones sealed the game although Oak Road had the last word with a third in the last minute. This latest win sees Brandesburton end the day five points clear of second placed AFC Willerby B who have two games in hand.
