However by half time Molescroft were leading 3-1 after producing their best performance of the season and they continued to on top in the second half when they added two more to run out convincing 5-1 winners. Bridlington Town vs Spartans

BRIDLINGTON TOWN  2  SPARTANS  4

After losing any chance of winning the Division Six title last Sunday Bridlington Town looked to make progress in the cup when they entertained Spartans at Queensgate. The visitors had beaten Brid Town 5-1 just a few weeks ago and they did so again today as they ran out 4 -2 winners. Spartans started the better of the two sides and opened the scoring early on through leading scorer Matt Tuton and they soon added a second via Mike Waller . Brid responded well and reduced the arrears but another two goal salvo before half time saw Spartans lead 4-1 after Dave Aitchison and a second from Tuton. The second half was a much cagier affair and only one more goal was scored as Brid got their second of the game but Spartans made it through to the semi finals.   Scorers for the home side were Jay Wallace and Tony Emmerson

Bridlington Town vs Hedon Rangers B

BRIDLINGTON TOWN  9  HEDON RANGERS B  1

Bridlington Town welcomed Hedon Rangers B to Queensgate looking to maintain second place in the table. The visitors had to draft in a number of their Over 50 team to make up their team and indeed two of the were over 60. They were no match for the hosts and went down to a heavy defeat but to their credit they kept going for the full ninety minutes and they were rewarded with a fine consolation goal from 20 yards by Keith Stephenson. Jay Wallace led the way for Brid Town with a double hat trick and Lewis Goodacre, Andy Higgins along with an own goal were their scorers.
