The start of the Easter holidays has meant a number of teams are missing players which has caused three games to be conceded and another two postponed and re-arranged. Fourteen games did go ahead across most divisions and two Over 50`s cup quarter finals were also played.

LORD NELSON 3 BLACKBURN LEISURE A 2
There was another six pointer at Sir Henry Cooper Park as Lord Nelson took on Blackburn Leisure A. Nelson started the better of the two sides and created several chances before opening the scoring through a fine Rich Sidwell finish. Mo Boukhaf doubled the lead with a thunderbolt shot which went in off the bar. However Blackies staged a fine comeback and made it 2-2 after goals from Craig Cockin and Barrie Duffill and with ten minutes remaining the game could have gone either way before Luke Buxton grabbed the winner before Nelson were reduced to ten men but they hung on for the win.
DIVISION TWO
HEDON RANGERS A 2 BOTTESFORD TOWN 5
Just a week after meeting in the cup Hedon Rangers A and Bottesford Town faced each other again at a windy South Holderness. The hosts opened the scoring through a Joe Brewer tap in. Bottesford took control and though Rob Petch got a second for Hedon the league leaders ran out 5-2 winners which sees them clinch the Division Two title.

In the only game played in Division Four this afternoon the top two teams AFC North and Brigg Town met at the windswept RWB. AFC North led 2-0 before Brigg responded with goals in the second half from Chris Thornton and Stuart Longbone to grab a share of the points in what was a feisty affair.

Bosun were back on level terms by half time when Lewis Seymour converted a penalty. Northern again started the half well but they couldn`t convert any of the chances they created and they paid the price as Bosun scored two goals in the last twenty minutes to seal the points from Perry Skelton.

DIVISION SIX
BARHAM 2 PRIORY 2
Barham welcomed Priory to Alderman Kneeshaw Park and they played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Priory were leading 2-0 after goals from Tony Beach and Chris Laws. Barham with the wind behind them in the second half responded well and Steve Oldfield from 25 yards out got the first followed by Tony Henry getting an equalisier. Both sides went looking for the winner but there were no further goals and a 2-2 draw was probably a fair result.
EASINGTON UNITED 2 SWANLAND B 4
