Recap

Another Cup/league encounter took place as Springhead Highway entertained Molescroft Rangers A in a game which was in the balance until the very end of the ninety minutes. Marsel Velia put Molescroft ahead following a mix up in the home defence but Springhead were soon level with  Mike Sharp smashing home a 30 yard screamer into the top corner. Before half time Springhead had turned things on their head as Danny Lyons put them ahead for the first time. Molescroft refused to go away and they equalised through Pete Thompson to leave a tense final fifteen minutes but cometh the hour cometh the man as up stepped Manager Dan Holgate to score a free kick from the edge of the box to win the game and set up a game with Cottingham Rangers in the semi final.
