MALT SHOVEL SELBY  1  AFC WILLERBY C  1   MALT SHOVEL WON ON PENALTIES

For the second successive week Malt Shovel Selby welcomed AFC Willerby C to Dennison Road after beating them 5-1 in the league last Sunday. If they expected another easy afternoon they soon realised that wasn`t going to be the case. James Frederick put the visitors into the lead in the first half and they had chances to increase their advantage but were unable to do so. They still led going into the last twenty minutes of the game before leading scorer Dan Smith brought the hosts level. Both sides had chances to grab a winner but there were no further goals and a penalty shoot out was the outcome. The home side progressed to the semi final after Willerby missed a couple of spot kicks.
