Recap

Spartans undertook their longest trip of the season when they travelled out to Selby to face Malt Shovel B and they will have enjoyed the journey home after a comprehensive 7-0 win. They got off to a brilliant start with Tony Sedman scoring two quick goals before the home side started to get a foothold in the game before Sedman completed a fine first half hat trick  to leave them 3-0 up at the break. The pattern remained the same after the break with Sedman grabbing his fourth of the game as Spartans were totally in command. Matt Greensmith made it five before defender Paul Coulson scored two outstanding goals one a towering header and the last of the game an effort from half way as he spotted the keeper out of position to round off an impressive performance.
