Recap

Spartans entertained Molescroft Rangers B at Hull University and the game was played on a grass pitch rather than the 4g pitches these two sides normally play on and that had an effect on the performance of both sides. Spartans took the lead in the first half through Gary Moore who headed home a cross at the far post as the home side 1-0 at half time. Molescroft equalised in the second half when they were awarded a free kick and Mike Nevit curled the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box and that was the end of the scoring.
