Recap

For the first time this season Liv Supplies were able to a home game at Haworth Park but it wasn`t a happy occasion as they were beaten 3-1 by Appleby Frodingham. The visitors went ahead from the penalty spot on twenty minutes and they led by 1-0 at half time. In the second half the home side started to get on top and they levelled with twenty minutes left also from a penalty which was converted by Neill Dransfield. It looked as though Liv would go on and take the points but Appleby regained the lead from the third penalty award of the game after a mistimed tackle. As Liv pushed forward seeking an equaliser they were caught on the break and an excellent third goal confirmed the points were going back across the Humber. Apple are now just a point behind the joint leaders Blackburn Leisure A and Reckitts.
