Recap

With the top two teams who were due to play each other not in action Holme Rovers knew a win at the Beverley Leisure Centre against Molescroft Rangers would see them return to the top of the table. Having given up home advantage to make sure the game went ahead Holme found the great surface to their liking. The visitors opened the scoring on ten minutes from the penalty spot but their advantage lasted only a couple of minutes before Paul Beaulah levelled for Molescroft. Holme responded to that setback by scoring twice in quick succession to lead 3-1 but the home side responded when Jamie Foster netted to leave the half time score 3-2 to Holme. The second half saw the visitors add three unanswered goals to run out 6-2 winners.
