Recap

The top two in Division Two met at St Mary`s as second placed Waterloo took on neighbours Apollo who had won all their games this season. Apollo had first use of the wind but an even first half ended goal less however in the second half Waterloo took control and raced into a three goal lead courtesy of goals from Jamie Hardy, Nick McMahon and Graham Waudby. Apollo grabbed a consolation goal inside the last ten minutes when Paul Palmer scored from the penalty spot but they admitted that the better side won today as they avenged their early season loss. This result sees Waterloo draw level with Apollo at the top of the table but crucially Apollo have three games in hand.
