Recap

Hanson Electrical B were looking to bounce back from last weeks defeat against Hornsea Town when they entertained Newland at Well Lane. After an even opening fifteen minutes  Kane Edgar who was playing his first full game of the season after a serious injury majestically headed the home side in front. Ten minutes later Hanson were reduced to ten men for repeated dissent and looked to have caused themselves a big problem. They led 1-0 at half time and a couple of inspired changes saw them score twice in the first ten minutes of the second half to lead 3-0 after goals from Mike Hallett with a fine shot from the edge of the box followed by a Dave Kitney free kick from the touchline which deceived attackesr and defenders alike and ended up in the net. Newland came back into the game but their only consolation was a goal from Alex Opie ten minutes from time.
