Recap

With leaders Blackburn Leisure B not in action today, Hornsea Town knew that if they won their East Coast derby game at Bridlington Rovers B they would go top of the table and they did just that after a comfortable 8-3 win. Ryan Silvestri who is Hornsea Town top scorer put them ahead after six minutes and he added a second on seventeen and just a couple of minutes later Dave Larvin made it 3-0. It was 4-0 at half time after Anthony Taylor scored and it looked game over but at the start of the second half Brid Rovers scored twice in quick succession to give themselves hope. Silvestri then completed his hat trick before Brid again reduced the arrears at 5-3 but that was as good as it got for the home side as Rick Davis and then two more for Silvestri made the final score 8-3.
