Recap

South Cave hosted Apollo in game between two sides who had both won their first two games of the season and the home side led 1-0 at the break after a Rob McKenzie goal on fifteen minutes but Apollo had created a number of good chances but some fine saves from the Cave keeper thwarted them in the first half.  Apollo equalised on the hour through Liam Dolan and went on to score twice more, both being headers from Paul Palmer and John Pickard to seal the points and see them go three points clear at the top of the table.
