Recap

Champions Blackburn Leisure A met last seasons runners up Liv Supplies at Brough and they ran out 4-1 winners after a highly competitive game. Craig Cockin put Blackies ahead just before half time after a tight first half. The second half started in the same way and on the hour Liv equalised but the parity lasted only a minute or so as virtually from the kick off the home side regained the lead through Kris Abbott and that was followed shortly afterwards by a Chris Lazenby penalty to make it 3-1. When Mike Hewitt tapped home for 4-1 it appeared to be game over but Liv kept going and Ben Hamilton in Blackies goal was forced into making several fine saves as the visitors looked to reduce the arrears.
