Recap

Two sides who won their respective Divisional titles last season met at Cumbrian Way as AFC North entertained Swanfield and it was the Division Four Champions who came out on top. AFC North went ahead when Daniel Drayton was brought down for a penalty and he picked himself up to score from the spot. Drayton then set up Aaron Fitzpatrick for a 25 yard strike which flew into the top corner. Swanfield responded and halved the deficit and it was game on again. The home side restored their two goal advantage when Drayton contributed his second assist of the game when he crossed for Wayne Audsley to slot home at the far post to secure the points for North.
