DRUM  2  GIPSYVILLE BOSUN  5

Another six pointer took place at Costello as neighbours Drum and Gipsyville Bosun went head to head for the points and local bragging rights. Drum knew that if they won they would clinch the title and maintain their unbeaten record but Bosun obviously read the script as they blew the title race wide open. Perry Skelton put Bosun ahead on ten minutes followed soon after by a goal from Daniel Hughes. Drum pulled a goal back just before half time through Jamie Willerton. In the second half Skelton scored twice more to complete a fine hat trick to make it 4-1 . Willerton with his second of the game gave Drum some hope but a Steve Hass 30 yarder sealed the points for Bosun. It means there will be a last game shoot out between Drum, Willerby and Molescroft for the title.
