MOLESCROFT RANGERS A   1   DRUM  1

There was a League game and Preliminary Round Cup tie double header at Hull University as Molescroft Rangers A hosted Drum. The first half ended with a blank score line and it took until the hour for the deadlock to be broken when Eddie Staples put Molescroft in front but fifteen minutes from time Drum equalised through Rob Kamis after good build up play. Both sides had chances to win the game but there were no further goals and it ended 1-1 meaning a point each. A penalty shoot out was required to determine who was going to progress to the quarter finals next March and the shootout was as close as the game had been but eventually Drum prevailed 4-3.
