AAK S+S B  1  AFC WILLERBY C  5

AAK S+S B played hosts to AFC Willerby C at Bishop Burton College and they soon found themselves a goal down after only five minutes after a Kev Fenton strike. The home side had much the better of proceedings after that and they equalised on twenty minutes through Dave Dunn. They then created a hatful of chance but were unable to take any of them and they paid the price as just before half time the visitors regained the lead via Adam Newlove. In the second half it was Willerby who missed a sitter when Kain Edgar was not so majestic when he missed from three yards. Willerby did press on and added a third when Sam Humphries smashed home a thirty yard screamer. Immediately afterwards AAK missed a great chance to make it 3-2 but then Willerby wrapped up the points as both Fenton and Newlove got their second goals of the game to give the score an unfair impression of how the game went.
