DRUM  3  AFC WILLERBY C  2

The top two side in Division Five met at Costello as Drum and AFC Willerby C both looked to maintain their 100% starts to the season. The visitors raced into a second minute lead when Adam Newlove scored and when Stef Wolkowski doubled their lead on twenty five minutes it looked as though Willerby were going away with the points and they could have been further ahead but for some outstanding saves by the Drum keeper Paul Leighton. Ten minutes before the break Drum pulled a goal back via Stu Johnson and it was 1-2 at half time. The home keeper continued to defy the Willerby attack and then Drum equalised on sixty five minutes through Jamie Willerton and it was game on. What turned out to be comeback completed came fifteen minutes from time with another from Willerton and then there were more excellent saves from the keeper along with hitting the woodwork twice there was no way back for Willerby.
