BRIGG TOWN  0  AFC NORTH  1

Brigg Town entertained AFC North with both sides looking to close the gap on the top two who were not in action today. A close game was anticipated and that was how it turned out as a single goal settled the outcome. North took advantage of a defensive slip by the Brigg rearguard to score the decisive goal. The visitors had a man sent off and had to defend for long periods with their keeper making some outstanding saves as they held on for a vital win. They move within four points of leaders Gilberdyke Phoenix and they have a game in hand
