LIV SUPPLIES  3  NORTHERN WANDERERS A  4

Liv and Northern Wanderers A met in a six point game at Haworth Park which was won by the odd goal in seven by the visitors. On a pitch was difficult to play decent football on it ended up being a scrappy game. Greame Hoff put the visitors ahead with a looping cross which found its way into the net. Liv responded in fine style and scored twice to take the lead before Kevin Hodgson made it 2-2 but there was still time for Liv to score and make it 3-2 at half time. A few changes made by Northern saw them level things up when Chris Jopling curled in a fine goal and it was Jopling who converted a penalty to see Northern lead 4-3 and both sides had chances but there were no further goals.
