NORTHERN WANDERERS  A  6  BRIDLINGTON TOWN ROVERS A  2

Northern Wanderers A had to switch their home game against Bridlington Town Rovers to Hull University after their Winifred Holtby pitch was unavailable. The 4G surface was obviously to their liking as they went ahead very early on and they soon doubled their lead before the visitors who arrived with a 100% record halved the deficit. Just before half time Northern restored their two goal advantage to lead 3-1. The second half started even and then Brid pulled another goal back and at 3-2 it was game on before the hosts regained control and they added three further goals without reply to record their first win of the season. Steve Sharpe helped himself to four goals with the other two coming from Graeme Hoff.
