SOUTH CAVE  5  LIV SUPPLIES B  4

There were plenty of goals as well at South Hunsley when South Cave entertained Liv Supplies B but at least this was a game in which both sides did well. The home side started the better of the two sides but some determined defending by Liv and some inspired goal keeping kept the scores level. Cave did go in front and soon added a second through Pete Fewings and Kirk Scargill to lead 2-0 at the break. Whatever was said by Liv at half time they started the second half on fire and scored three times through Gareth Bennett, Chris Armstrong and Mike Smith to go ahead and their third goal was a superb effort. Twenty minutes to go Cave had to fight back and they did so in style, Rob Mooney got the equaliser and then Fewings got a brace to complete his hat trick to leave Cave 5-3 ahead but the visitors had the last word via an Adi Cooper long distance effort to make the final score 5-4.
