AFC WILLERBY A  6  BLACKBURN LEISURE A  0

The top two in Division Two met at Wolfreton College in a six pointer as AFC Willerby A took on Blackburn Leisure A in a huge game. That was reflected in a tight first half in which both sides cancelled each other out with a 0-0 scoreline at half time. Within just over five minutes of the second period Willerby found themselves 3-0 ahead after goals from Michael Bartlett, Michael Claxton and Andy Stott. Shell shocked by this explosive start Blackie who came into the game unbeaten had to regroup but they were unable to stem the tide as the home side added three more goals via Mike Pecora , a second from Claxton and the last coming from Adam Foster. The six points sees Willerby leap frog the top two  a point clear of Kingburn Athletic and they have two games in hand.
