BLACKBURN LEISURE A  4  HORNSEA TOWN  3

Hornsea Town went into their game at Brough against Blackburn Leisure A in a buoyant mood after getting their first win of the season last weekend and at 3-1 up into the second half they seemed on route for a second success in a row but a tremendous fightback from the home side saw them take the points courtesy of an injury time winner. Hornsea opened the scoring but Blackies equalised soon after through Rich Thompson only for the visitors restore their lead by half time. In the second half they extended their advantage to 3-1 before the comeback started. First Craig Cockin then Rich Moore got it back to 3-3 and just when it appeared it would end that way up stepped Captain Chris Lazenby  to grab a dramatic last gasp winner. Lee Carter with 2 and Dave Larvin scored for Hornsea. Blackies retain top spot after that late winner.
