SOUTH CAVE  6  NEWLAND  0

South Cave switched their home game against Newland to South Hunsley School and their determination to get the game played paid off as they hit their opponents for six. For the vast majority of the first half it was fairly even as both sides looked for the break through. That came ten minutes before the interval when Cave went ahead and they added a second to go in 2-0 up. Cave dominated the second half and scored four more without reply to run out 6-0 winners. Newland  are still looking for their first point of the season after this latest loss. Their goals coming from a James Ferguson hat trick, two from Kirk Scargill and Tom Brennan with the other.
