SPARTANS  0  GILBERDYKE PHOENIX  4

Spartans hosted Gilberdyke Phoenix at Hull University with both sides confident of extending their winning runs. Spartans began the game on top and caused Gilberdyke a number of problems but they were unable to score and once the visitors started to get to grips with the game they showed Spartans how to take their chances as goals from Matt Conway and Dave Stevens gave them a 2-0 half time lead. The second half mirrored the first with the home side on top early on but unable to breach a well organised rearguard and once again Gilberdyke hit them with a couple of goals both from Phil Escorcio to go four up. Andy Whitaker was the provider for all four goals as Gilberdyke made it four successive wins and moved up to fourth place in the table.
